Aldo Salinas understands that political science is more than just the
study of government and bureaucracy. As a political science major, Aldo Salinas
knows that political science entails the study of an extremely complex and
often confusing world; one where the players and the rules are in constant
flux.
Aldo Salinas has been interested in politics and government since he
was a young teenager, and he had always excelled in subjects that pertained to
the workings of government and the political machine. Aldo Salinas, however,
never really understood what goes on behind the scenes, the things that
actually grease the wheels and make government function, until he was fully
immersed in the California
State University
political science program. In college he was able to explore different
political philosophies in more depth, to understand how legislation is created
and written, and to unlock the often misunderstood mystique of the United
States Supreme Court. Aldo Salinas is grateful to the CSU faculty and to the
program in general, for providing him the opportunity to uncover the many
things he had previously been unaware of.
